Dr. Lalit Pande was awarded the
‘Padma Shree’ by the President of India
in 2007 for the work done by the
organisation.
He was also awarded the ‘Distinguished
Alumni Award’ by the Indian
Institute of Technology Delhi in 2014
for his outstanding contributions in public
services.
Lalit Pande was awarded the "Outstanding Mechanical Engineer" (OME) Award by Purdue University on November 3, 2017.
USNPSS received the ninth Mahaveer Award
(2003) for excellence in the sphere of
Education and Medicine in 2005. The
selection jury for the award was chaired by
Justice M. N. Venkatachalliah, former Chief
Justice of India, and USNPSS was one of the
three awardees out of 212 nominations.
Uttarakhand Mahila Parishad was
awarded the first place, amateur category
photo contest (2009) for women making
decisions in open community meetings on the
occasion of celebrating 30 years of CEDAW in
the Asia-Pacific.
